You can check your BIA (Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis) score anytime by touching two fingers to the side buttons. Built-in sensors there work with those touching your wrist to take 2400 readings in 15 seconds, giving you measurements of your body’s fat, muscle, and water mass. Samsung worked to ensure that these sensors are 98% accurate when compared to standard DXA scans.
Heart Smart
The integrated ECG sensors can measure your heart rate in real time, keeping you informed on any detected abnormal readings. All of the data can be sent straight to a compatible smartphone for sharing with others.

By measuring your blood oxygen (SpO2) every second, the Watch4 can track your breathing and snoring throughout the night, giving you a sleep score in the morning. This data can help you adjust your environment and sleeping habits so you can get a more restful night’s sleep.

We all know it’s important to get our exercise in every day, but staying consistently motivated on our own can be difficult. Samsung incorporates Challenges into the Watch4 to not only help yourself, but to also help those you care about. The feature lets you compete with friends and family to see who can come out on top by tracking your steps through a live message board. A point system is used to determine who wins commemorate badges and you’ll get updates on where you rank and who pulled ahead, prompting you to get up and take the lead.

With support for Bluetooth 5.0 and dual-band Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n), you can wirelessly connect with your smartphone and optional headphones to stream music and share fitness data.
